Ok, is it working this time? There we go. (Bear with me here, still figuring it all out)

So here's the deal.

I found something while exploring some ruins. I don't know exactly how old they are, but the things I've found here... they're not things you usually see nowadays. And looking around, I hope to figure out a little bit of info as to why.
smGap
I've done a little digging already, but the structural soundness of this place is really slowing me down. Trying to make sure the walls don't collapse on me and all, or collapse on anything interesting. They don't really seem all that eroded or worn like you might expect, but the cracks go deep.
smGap
There's a couple of what I hope are game trails snaking through the overgrowth around the ruins' walls. Deeper down, though, there are clear hand- or foot-prints in a few spots on the walls and floors, underneath layers of dust and nearby forgotten, decaying objects. It doesn't seem like anyone has been here in a long time, but something about the atmosphere of this place... it feels thick, but in an old way, if that makes any sense. Like someone is watching or that there is someone else there that I just can't see, even if the space hasn't been used in who-knows-how-long.
gap
I'll keep digging, though. I think something of this place deserves to survive.
smGap
I'm going to be honest, uncovering and making sense of things like this is going to take me a long time, if I ever finish it at all. Archaeology and anthropology aren't really my strong suit, you see. That said, my three main goals for this place are as follows:
Figure out what exactly this place is
Figure out what happened here
Find someone else who cares

We'll see how things go.

Here's the story of how I first found this place, in case you're curious.

Meet you in the Ruins.
